Introduction; and Equipment Faves!

Hello all! I'm a brand spanking-new member of APUG; and I am also a film-only photog who shoots with Zeiss-Ikon cameras and Zeiss lenses! Currently, my favs are the 1950's Super Ikonta B (6x6) with coated Tessar; and the 1930's Contax II with uncoated 50mm, f/2 Sonnar. I have a f/1.5 coated Sonnar being repaired now (lens separation) @ Essex Camera in NJ, USA. I will keep all updated re this lens when it is returned to me, and I shoot a roll. Looking forward to networking with all you fine photogs here @ APUG!!! South Buffalo Bob.

I have a 1930's Contax 11 with a 1.5 cm Sonnar that my dad brought back from Germany after WW11 that he gave me when I was thirteen that got me started in photography, I hope you enjoy this forum as much as I do.
