Hello all,
i joined this forum not because I am an avid photographer but because I appreciate the story behind the photographs. As a result, I started out collecting civil war era tin types, ambros, dagueros and cdv’s. My interests later expanded to early aviation photographs, E.S. Curtis native american photos and then to 1930’s/1940’s sports photos and more recently Thomas Mangelson nature images
That being said, I am very ignorant regarding the identification and assessment of the various generations of photographic prints. So, if you will excuse this ignorance, I intend to pop in occasionally to seek your expert guidance. I thank you in advance for educating a clueless, yet willing, student!
