Good news (well, news to me at least) for those of us using Pakon 35mm scanners. We now also have the option to run under 64-bit Windows 10/11 thanks to an enterprising software developer. New 64-bit Windows drivers are available https://github.com/ktkaufman03/FX35. There's also a nice write-up about how he did it at https://ktkaufman03.github.io. The drivers work great with my F-235 and are free and open-source - you can look at the code and see how it all works, which is pretty cool. Now if someone would develop a friendlier version of TLX all would be perfect.
Given how junky current scanners seem to be (save for some of the Epsons) it's wonderful to have the option to run these high-end "legacy" scanners with modern hardware. Running my Pakon under Windows XP was getting really old.

My is the plus model 135 pakon, had since 2013/2012. I may set it up on a win 10 laptop (my win10 desktop doesn't meet needed requirements) to see how I like it. I really just need an old beater xp laptop. I don't mind copy/pasting files via a usb drive between main desktop and a dedicated scanning laptop.
