I had the pleasure of holding an interview with Roman Loranc a few weeks ago and now have the interview up on my blog, The Photo Fundamentalist. Roman was one of the strongest influences on my early landscape photography and it has been a real pleasure to see him build such success in the dozen or so years that I have been following his work. I thought I would post the interview here, because he's analogue all the way through and I am sure his work appeals to a lot of people. I hope you enjoy it.

I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Roman is not only a superb photographer, he's a very nice guy and its not hard to see the connection between the man and his photographs.

I've only chatted with him briefly once. He is a master at the "less is more" approach to all this, with respect to both gear and technique.
I think it would be insulting to any number of us to even bring up "digital" whatever in an interview. One's prints should stand on their own.
Proof enough. If the "gotta have" digi geeks can't understand that, no sense trying to convince them. Thank you for the post. More people
should get out there and look at well made prints. Roman has certainly done well in his particular style. He doesn't hit a home run every time, by any means, but when he does, it's clear out of the ball park.
