Internegative for cyanotype from 35mm?

Have you tried washing it in a weak solution of carbonate? That should bleach the ferricyanide. I'm not sure if it'll disappear entirely, but it should be much less dense afterwards.

I'm probably gonna chuck it. It was underexposed in the camera and has no shadow detail whatsoever, and it's just a picture of a bridge I shot while screwing around with my Pacemaker. I just chose it because it was the most visually interesting of a bunch of useless negatives I shot that day.

Man, I should have caught on earlier that the back shutter was wound too tight. About time to rebuild it again.

How has your result on glass been? I had no idea non-porous materials could be used. Surely it would be delicate, but so were daguerreotypes...

I was fortunate to copy a recipe down that Ron Mowrey gifted us a while ago. this is what his instructions were:

"Make up a 20% gelatin mixture (weight / weight) or 20 g of gelatin in a total of 100 g of solution by adding Distilled Water (DW).
Make up your normal cyanotype solution.
Mix 1 part of the gelatin solution with 1 part of the cyanotype, so that the cyanotype is 1/2 normal concentration and the gelatin is now 10% wt/wt.Coat using some conventional method such as a brush. I've used a brush and my coating blades both. You will have to use 2x the normal cyanotype coating level due to dilution effects and may have to add a surfactant."
