I wasn't sure where to post this in the gallery so I'm posting it here
Well - probably not in the Ethics and Philosophy sub-forum where it was - but there is no problem moving it to this "Antiques, Collecting and Photographic History" sub-forum - which I've done.
The Standard Gallery would also work, but the fora are better for discussions.
The shirts in front of him look similar
Ok, got it. Thanks, Matt.
Does anyone ever go to this sub forum?
Yup; that’s how I got here. I’d like to see more from this collection….People look at "new posts", which shows anything new in any of the parts of the forum people are signed up to see.

Well, you all make my heart sing.Ok, then, New Posts it is.
CMoore, I have thousands of my dad's negatives (and prints); most are in envelopes with dates and locations. This one has neither. He's long gone so we'll never know why he took it unless I come across an empty envelope that sounds like the description of it.
I'm pretty sure that's a young Kramer photobombing this scene.I especially like the shirt of the guy on the right.
I wasn't sure where to post this in the gallery so I'm posting it here since I've had nice chats with members on this particular forum. (And helpful advice)
I don't have a date but of course with those Graflex cameras it's likely in the 1950s. I'm assuming my father took the picture since the negative is in his collection and there was a Weinstein's store in San Francisco, where we lived our whole lives. There's just something really fun about this image
That's nice! Do you have a collection of them? Whatever you got, upload to the Internet Archive in decent res.
I'd like to second that option. Btw, it can be combined with uploading the photos to the gallery if @Nancy123 wants to use Photrio's webspace for this.It might be an idea to have a single thread where you post new photos.
