I've been shooting some Type 55 recently. I choose to expose for the positive so the negatives are usable but thin.

Does anyone have any experience or tips for intensifying these negs? So far they have just had a sulfite bath and wash. I have at my disposal selenium toner, bleach sepia sulfide toner or I can mix up some Kodak IN-5.

Selenium 1:1 for about one minute..wash hang to dry
I think John Sexton has a full detail on his website or someone else will chime in
Not a big deal

I ended up going the selenium route that seemed to work well. I followed Ansel Adams method as per the Darkroom Cookbook -- fix with plain hypo, then selenium 1:2 for 5 minutes, then hypo clear and re-wash.

I looked up John Sexton he advocates for selective intensification of a negative with selenium. That's an interesting technique and one I'd never considered trying.
