Instax Wide and 1/4-plate cameras

In a bid to try and guesstimate the reciprocity failure of Instax, I figured I would go out after sunset and see what the result would be over-exposing. The meter reading for the scene was 1/2s @ f16 for the field and around 1/4s @ f16 for the sky, 20 minutes after sunset.

So, I decided to try around 2s @ f16 by using the highly scientific 'elephant-1-elephant-2' method

Anyway, it was slightly overexposed and I think a proper 1s exposure would have got it... still, next time it's a clear sunny day, I'll be out at sunset trying again!

Thanks @Arthurwg - every now and then, I get a shot that I like and it's a great feeling! Instax is not an easy film to work with but I like the results that it can produce. Here's the camera in action...
