Hey guys,

Does someone has this camera?

I bought one to have a notion about the mini photos. The camera is ugly but the photos are neat and come pretty nice.

But now I have a problem with it. Somehow, when I was shooting landscape (when I changed the focusing lens), the connector on the left side that is connector to the shutter (I think, a little flat connector with a black strip on the top) got in the way between the lens and the film. From the first pack, 6 photos were "wasted" because the connector would appear on the side of the film.

Now, I wanted to know if anyone had this problem and how did they fixed. Or at least, if someone could take a photo of the connector and upload here to take ideas to solve mine, it would be awesome.

Thank you

I no longer have my instax mini but if I remember correctly, that's the flex cable with some sort of black strip (for lightproofing or avoiding internal reflections?). On the older models the black strip gets separated and intrudes into the picture. You can try using adhesive or double sided tape to attach it again. Just make sure it doesn't tangled up since the cable moves every time the lens pops out

Why and how did you change the lens?

*Changed the focus length? I think that's how It's called

I see.
(Some Instax Mini cameras are fix-focus, some got a macro setting.)

Yup. Now I got it. It's not like the Instax 7 where it's only 1 focal length
