Hi, up for sale is this automatic Instantkon RF70 that I bought for a friend who seems to prefer his Lomo InstantWide. Price is $675, includes shipping to CONUS. Comes with original box, 2 batteries and a pack of Instax color film.

I see it's in "Mint" condition...

Thanks for the nudge, Donald
A bit distracted when I wrote up this post, apologies. I don't see any glaring faults with the cosmetics, and the internal/lens are in excellent condition. Ive taken a box of instax pictures with it and they've come out well, this would suggest the bellows are in good shape as well.

Actually, I was just punning on the manufacturer name...

Honestly, I'd love to have one of those, but there's no way I'll spend that much on a camera without knowing it inside and out (if then) -- and never mind one that uses proprietary film with only one source.

I am not at all familiar with an instant camera that doesn't use propriety film with only one source. Or maybe you're just implying that instant isn't for you. I'm not sure!

Knowing the InstantKon in and out means you'd have to go through alot of that single origin, propriety film. On the other end of that journey is a large collection of awesome instax colors

For a long time, Polaroid pack film cameras had two sources -- Polaroid and Fuji.

Mind you, I'd love to have one of those, and I don't (much) mind the cost of the materials -- but to spend that kind of money on a camera, it'd have to be something I can at least be confident of feeding for at least a generation. And without spending more than the camera cost to "upgrade" it as it done with the old roll film Polaroids. Yes, Polaroid made the roll film for thirty years, and between Polaroid and Fuji pack film ran forty-plus -- but who knows if Instax will still be around in 2025? For a $100 camera, I might not care, but for almost $700, I care.
