I recently bought a Minolta MC 50mm f/1.4 PG lens and I want to use it for IR photography. Does this lens produce hot spots and flaring? I know that the f/2.0 is good in IR, but that is the only lens that I know is problem free. Also, are there any IR gems in the fleet that I should consider?
