I am looking for an 87C filter for some IF work to fit a Cokin P mount. I have tried most places, and it's back ordered everywhere for whatever reason, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether a Lee 4"x4" filter would comfortably fit into a cokin P adaptor?

Nope. The cokin's are smaller. You could try Hitech brand, i think they make cokin sized stuff. I think cokin makes a gel filter mount you could by the Lee gel filter and put it in a gel mount.

Ilford sell a Cokin P size filter for SFX200 film that seems to be equivalent to an 89B, might work for you?
