Info on 8 1/4 Red Dot Artar

Just acquired an 8 1/4 inch red dot artar but the synchro compur shutter sticks. Have had trouble with same shutter on other LF lenses and SK Grimes seems to be unable to correct problem. Anyone know size of the shutter on this lens? Thinking of replacing with new shutter but can't seem to find a resource to indicate sizes.

There is a google search found thread at large format photography forum explains 9 to 14 inches with acme and compur shutters. These lenses are their expertise and dont skip to ask the same question there also.

If SK Grimes is unable to correct the problem, I vote for operator error.
