Evening all. For years I’ve used a Zero-stat anti-static gun when assembling lenses, worked quite well: Today it died, gave up the ghost and so I thought ‘Hey, just go out and buy another.’ THIRTY_FIVE QUID :surprised: That’s……...$66 in USD or $74 in CD or 7829.83 yen! I only paid 8 quid for mine back when Victoria was on the throne :D Anyone know of/offer an alternative weapon, at a price where I don’t need to leave my heart and lungs on the counter as a deposit
All the best.

My favorite is the Kinetronics anti-static brush.

My goodness, man! And have you seen what's happened to the prices of horseshoe nails and a good pair of men's braces, too?

It's a bloody crime!

How much has your income increased since the days they were £8 ? its all relative, its wage inflation in relation to price inflation :D

Thats a good point considering when the last Victoria on the throne was up until 1901 :D lol. Course if he meant Elizabeth could be as far back as 1952, and if that were the case inflation of wage to price would definitely be a factor since couple hundred for a leica doesn't seem like that much now, but back then how much was one making?
