I use my Nikkor 50mm F2 for over 90% of the images I shoot.

I often shoot whole rolls with it.

like he said... i used to carry a full bag, lenses, filters, flash (just-in-case! and for fill), other accoutrements... you never want to be unprepared or miss the shot!

a few years back i started paying attention to what i used... lo and behold, 99% of my shooting was with a normal lens. i took the leap and pared down my bag to one camera/lens, film and 4 or 5 filters. lightened my load, did less fooling with paraphernalia, and ended up making more and better work! i must of heard it a hundred times but never did anything about it...

then i remembered the the old saw, "creativity results from constraints."
