I just tried to consult the Ilford website at www.ilford.com and could not find a single mention of b+w materials or chemicals, just inkjet media and Ilfochrome. Have I gone blind? If not, what can the reason for this be?

Regards,

David

The Ilford.com site used to have a link to the Ilfordphoto site marked 'Black and White Materials'. They appear to have changed it though.

I'm guessing that part of whatever Transitional Services Agreement was cooked up after the split has expired.

The most depressing thing about the current Ilford.com is the phrase (practically a footnote,) on the "About us" page,
ILFORD also continually evaluates the capabilities of its professional colour product ranges, ILFOCHROME and ILFOCOLOR, to ensure their performance meets the requirements of the professional marketplace.

I don't know why, but I detect a distinct aura of doom there...

Thanks, guys, I knew there had to be a good (?) reason!
