Patrick, the problem with that design is that they won't swing out of the light path entirely. Kienzle makes a holder one which swings out of the path. It its much smaller and will only take unmounted filters cut to the small size. Maybe you could stack two of them. With our design you could stack two of them and manually pull/insert the filters. Another option would be to modify the "side-flaps" to extend downward and inward as well (L---shape). that way one filter could be on top and one below. Its harder to manufacture though and will require multiple pieces welded or glued together.

= The Valoy 2 variant also has a long-hole so it can be fine-tuned to be exactly under the lens.
= The mechanism to attach the holder to the Ic and keep it straight is also a bit different. The original Leitz holder uses a tube which is welded to the holder and you need a special screw with exact measurements to match the tube. In our design we use a strong spring instead of a tube. This way the holder can be made form one piece of sheet metal and the distance to the lens can be set individually by using different length screws/springs.
