Ilford S

Have used Ilford S for film several years,recently found that no matter what ratio I mix it ,it last only about 24 to 48 hours with maybe 2 rolls of 36 developed during the first process.I have a climate controlled darkroom (68F),I use a vacuum pump to clear the bottles of air before storing,I keep the temperature at (68F+ or - 3 degrees) when using.Still its dead at 2 days.Anyone with ideas on this problem?

Are you referring to Ilfosol S? Have you been successfully keeping working strength solution for over 2 days? Ilford say to make it up immediately before use and not to keep it beyond 24 hours. If it was keeping OK previously then your storage bottle or other equipment may be contaminated.
