Received my rugby shirt a few days ago. Would like to have seen the word "film" on it ! Fits nicely.

Deliveries are now taking place outside the UK as well. Just got my rugby shirt in the mail. The US may take a little longer, assuming that incoming mail will have to pass through customs, security, DOA, etc.
Material and fit are nice. I will have to see how it stands up to washing (40 degrees centigrade max., no bleach, no tumble dry). If you are used to developing film, this can't be a problem.

Now there's good idea. It won't fit in my Paterson tanks, but it might in one of my larger Jobo ones. 10.5 minutes in Fairy Snow at 1+7 at 35C on the CPE2's high speed should do it...

Well I received mine today, it fits perfectly.

I was a bit worried about the UK fitting/sizing thing, but the helpful lady at the other end, worked it out for me.

Great service

If one looks on the inside, one sees a negative version of the embossed logo on the front!

It may be black, but it is not a heavy material it will breathe reasonably easily.

So when can I get an Ilford Photo coffee mug, camera bag, camera strap, kagool, belt pouch for film, fishing hat, photographer's vest, key ring, wallet... Ilford could do a 'Caterpillar' here...

Post all of those items to me together with a big bag of money and I will print the Ilford logo onto them for you!

My rugby shirt and polos arrived a couple of days ago. Helpful Helen was correct - the rugby is a generous size. The rugby is a lot lighter weight than what we would call a rugby shirt here in Australia, so it should be good for cool summer days.

Dear Andy,

ILFORD Photo will certainly not do a Catapillar...giving birth to these T Shirts and Rugby shirts was like splitting the atom, achievable but a bit bothersome : And if I do not sell them all and cover my costs I will come and visit every APUG member Worldwide personally....and moan.

With kind regards and thanks to all who have bought so far, I am pleased you seem to like the quality, design, customer service etc...

Dear Simon,

Good thing I bought two of your polo shirts then, eh?
I was tempted by the rugby shirt, but in the end I just couldn't bear the thought of being mistaken for a Kiwi supporter.

Too bad - I buy their large industrial engines in sizes up to 5045 horsepower, and their customer service is awful. I'd be over the moon if Cat had Ilfords customer service, instead of the attitude that I should be thankful that Cat would even consider doing business with me.

Dear Craig,

And I guess a 5045 horsepower motor costs just a little bit more than an ILFORD Photo 'T' shirt ?....

Customer care is one of our key focus areas....why ?... its so obvious... our customers are the most important thing we handle every day in our business...our single most valuable asset...and our customers are all treated the same way, no gimmicks, big or small, it makes no difference.

Where I was born, "Cat hats" were de rigueur... but don't dare use that word around there!

But seriously folks... an "Ilford hat" (that's baseball cap, to the uninitiated), would be something that photogs would wear every day, rather than a once-in-a-while, or "special occasion" t-shirt/rugby shirt. Speaking as a gentleman of a certain age who is thinning slightly on top, I don't step out of the door without a hat. I would truly be proud if it said "ILFORD" instead of something else.

So let's all buy up those shirts so we can convince the HARMAN technology clothing & textile division director to make us hats!

My shirt arrived today, I couldn't be more pleased. Simon, thanks for setting this up, and please extend my thanks Helen and the other folks who make your customer service so good.
