Dear Simon,

Zeiss's current polo shirts have the 15mm f/2.8 Distagon on the back; the earlier ones just have Carl Zeiss Lens Division on the front. Perhaps you could do a series of limited editions....

Frances and I are still wearing our Delta 3200 launch shirts. Wore them to Solms, in fact.

Cheers,

Roger

Dear Roger / Thomas,

No special requests...please...the place is looking more like Marks and Spencer than a photo factory....only joking...

As an FYI I am holiday for the next two weeks, so if you don't see me on the forums you know why...

Roger : I am dusting off the Leica and taking it to Rome...lets hope its PAN F+ weather and not HP5 + weather.

Kind Regards

Simon. ILFORD Photo / HARMAN technology ( clothing division )

Dear Simon,

Have fun in Rome!

You'd be unlucky to encounter HP5 weather in the daytime at this time of the year -- but it's always Delta 3200 weather in the late evenings...

Cheers,

Roger

Simon,

Have a great time in Rome! Remember: "when in Rome, do as the Romans do..."

I'm appreciative of how responsive Ilford is, and their commitment to film photography! Ilford has earned by business.

Simon,

P.S. Congratulations on your promotion to the clothing division

Let us know if you ever reconsider and decide to do t-shirts. I realize that they're not in keeping with the image Ilford wishes to project. Some of us de classe folks do use your products after all.

I'm so excited. Can't wait to order one and wear it proudly while shooting some XP2 Super.

Actually, it's red wine and sushi here (and a total lunar eclipse) while I wait for the link on the Ilford site. :munch:

While I wait, it's nice to read this news -

ILFORD PHOTO ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN TO ‘DEFEND THE DARKROOM’

D*mn - I can't call international from this rig.

I've ordered mine
For once living in the UK has a practical advantage
I wonder how long before they're sold out...

Just ordered me a rugby shirt. Very helpful young lady on the other end of the line (she somehow reminded me of the record "Johnny Reggae" (The Piglets, 1971)).
BTW: Is Simon Galley the man in the picture wearing the rugby shirt? If so, I will leave it to the ladies to determine if he is "a real tasty geezer" as the above song went......
