with Jeans for genes and it will be wet and cold as well , the tour should suit our North, North American friends down to the ground. I hope Les McLean won't be there as I am not equipped for blizzards!

Anyone got the GPS co-ordinates of the factory?

(When I get lost I love to blame the damn stoopid sat nav :D)

Well the postcode of the factory is WA16 7JL

or you can enter..

53.3185N
2.3422W

Dear Jid,

Sile has taken ill and will not be travelling with Fintan and I this evening, so her room in the Travelodge is free if anyone needs it.

See you all tomorrow and some of you tonight.

Peter

To all people visiting Ilford/HARMAN tomorrow: have fun! I really, really enjoyed the tour last year, I'm pretty sure you will enjoy yourselves. You are in good hands!

Please post reports, for those of us who are far away and are not able to make it.

Hi all - I only just received an email today from Dianne at Ilford wishing me well for the trip tomorrow - this is the first email I have received from Dianne, to my knowledge so I wasnt aware I was on the list!.....so I guess I am on the list?.......so I guess I be there for 9.30 tomorrow,

Matt

We are in the Red Cow having a pint with Jeff. Where are the rest of you?

I hope you'll be able to stand up tomorrow  See you there.

I'm exhibiting a bit of envy from way over here in Texas. I would love to take this tour. Maybe after retirement! Simon - keep these up for another 5 years.

I mean, I did go to England for Christmas Eve at King's College, I suppose I could justify this. :D

Many thanks to Simon for organising a very packed and interesting day. Also thanks to Howard Hopwood the Chairman of Ilford/Harmann Technology for taking the time to come and talk to APUG members about how the company perceives the future of Silver Halide technologies.

Ian

I'd echo that - a thoroughly enjoyable day, thanks to everyone for taking the time and making us welcome.

I wish that I could have been there with you, everyone. I'm still hoping that Ilford will make a video tour and put it on their website, for those of us who can't make the trip to England.

All I can say is wow, what an experience to see first hand the commitment, innovation and passion that drives IP-HT. I was a real privledge

Thanks to Howard and Simon for making it happen, I am most grateful.

And super to meet some fellow APUGers, what a great bunch of folks.
