Kerrisdale Cameras (my local shop) emailed me, to let me know that they had a few 120 rolls of retro packaged HP,5 with my name on them... So, I dashed over and picked them up. When I got home to admire them, my name wasn't on them...

I'll correct that next time I'm POTUS and speak to Harman

^^^ and it works, too!
We're noticing it & talking about it.
Some folks are buying it.
There might be some "collector value" at some point.
Hey... people collect old TV Guides, Beanie Babies, and McDonalds plastic cups...so why not?

Don't they have better things to do than redesign packaging?
It caused me to Order 11 rolls of HP5 that I will not need till spring. if it gets a few folks interested in their products, it would be worth the (I imagine as they make the Cassettes In House now) minimal cost.

Apparently these packages were only a temporary promotion. Earlier this year, the120 FP4 and HP5 in them from B&H was dated 09/2026. I just purchased some more from B&H, and they came in the mainly white boxes dated 05/2027 and 06/2027.

yes, the fine print on the box mentioned special packaging to commemorate 145 years. i know it is shocking BTW, but the colour scheme is exactly how I remember buying HP3 back in the 1960s

Also these boxes are the first that I saw that mentioned a contact address in the Netherlands. I guess if you are not in the EU, you have to have a office contact to see there.
