Have you checked whether you have mail? :D:whistling::wink:
No I avoid that Matt especially as I seem to have caused offence against with my suggestion that Henning if he has the figures on film sales simply publish them to help settle the interminable "Film is dead/ barely alive but getting better/ close to being released from hospital/ in a state that is little short of robust health.

Take your pick as to which of the above states as we all are currently forced to do minus some meaty figures :D

I'll be curious to know if it's the same batch and if it has the same issues. If not, maybe I might order from them. I'm not sure when they stopped making it, and thus what the 'freshest' stock could be. Probably when they transitioned to their new RC paper?

Well, I've got three boxes (2 empty, one full) of the postcard paper and none of them have that batch number. My full box (and the one before it, likely to have produced the defective images) have a photo of two dogs on the front, the other box is older which actually shows the back of the postcard paper as the main feature image. Anyway, my codes for the newer (?) boxes are 78D576X32 (full) and 40D503C20 (empty) - I guess I'll try to contact Harman and see if I can find out how old the batches are.

My box is also one with the postcard paper as the main feature with the two photos behind it being of boats and buildings. For what it's worth, the postcard on the box has French/English text and slightly different layout than what's actually in the box.

Thanks Matt I have made contact with Ilford via its own IlfordPhoto website. In it I mentioned what prompted my e-mail and asked more or less exactly what your two questions ask

Just for info, I have yet to receive any reply from IlfordPhoto on the situation with Postcard paper
