Ilford MG Classic Matt (5K) surface question

Does this paper feature the same deep matt surface that MG IV FB was known for?

I use this paper for solarization printing sometimes and Yes I found it the same or better. I only tone this paper as I do not like its finish untoned.

I hand paint, which is sensitive to surface changes. I've noticed no difference between the Classic and older version.
