Hi Simon,

A couple of years ago the fine folks at your fine company were nice enough to send us out a few dozen copies of "Ilford Multigrade Papers, A manual for the darkroom" (catalogue # 1927328). We've found it to be a very valuable resource for all our diploma level students and include it in the text book list we draw up every year.

Unfortunately, we are now down to our last half dozen copies or so and would very much like to have about 30 more to distribute to this year's crop of up and coming photographers.

Is the booklet still available?

Need the missing manual.

Our local art center "The Lyndon House" has a fantastic darkroom and I'm happy to say we have started black and white classes again for the first time in seven years. I am looking for ten or so copies of Ilford's "A Manual for the Darkroom" Catalog # 1927328 for our library. I plan to let students check them out during the duration of the class.

I couldn't find anything on Ilford's site regarding it, although I really appreciate the information that is available here: http://www.ilfordphoto.com/applications/page.asp?n=16 it's no substitute for the catalog. I'd happily pay for shipping.

Regarding the PDF : We cannot do it because the photographs included and showing various techniques were agreed for the book publication only, I cannot therefore publish on the web, as I am sure you realise we absolutely honour copyright relating to the photographers who work with us.

While looking for info on the two new Ilford FB papers (FB Classic and FB Cooltone), I stumbled onto this document, in German however. http://www.bon-image.com/de/harman/multigrade/handbuch. I agree that it is a good resource. The firm Bon-image is the German rep for Ilford.

I still have a copy;picked it up at photokina at a time when Ilford was still talking to regular blokes at trade fares; these days,you need to be a VIP or a major reseller to get into their booth,which i protected like Fort Knox

I found Harman very approachable when I visited their stand at 'Focus on Imaging' in 2011. Not sure I'd go to a similar event again though as content on the whole (DSLRs and dubious presentations) not a great match for my interests.
