Ilford ICP/IWP 42

Hi!

I have an opportunity to buy used Ilford ICP + IWP 42 combo.
I've tried to google information about it but not much seems to be available.

What I'm curious about is that can it be used with RA4 process?
Or even B&W process? These machines are dirt cheap now so I'm a bit tempted...

Hello!

The machines you are presenting are the same as Thermaphot UCP 403 and Thermaphot UWD 402. This because they are rebranded by Ilford, even if they were built by Thermaphot.
I own a Thermaphot UCP 403, but not the UWD 402.
The combo is specially designed to be used with the Ilfochrome process. Slide to paper.
But I use mine both for RA-4 and BW. Even if there is better machines for use with RA4 process, ex. Thermaphot ACP series.

Tomorrow I will have a look at the machines. Only problem is the size of these things.
