Hi all,

Could anyone give me starting times for theese films

Ilford Pan 50
FP4 125
HP5+
Delta 100

so I can experiment and ajdust accordingly? I am interested in nominal speeds and also maybe a one or two stop push with this developer if anyone has tried. I know there are better choices but I wish to try Ilford films (been using EFKE so far) with this developer, and wouldnt like to bring aditional unknowns in to the picture.

Cheers and many thanx

This data sheet is from 1999.
Some emulsions are changed in the mean time. (APX/Rollei Retro).

Best regards,

Take a look over on the Massive Development Chart for a starting guide.

My times and dilutions are:

FP4: 1+100 for 20 minutes, EI 125 (reduced agitation)
Delta 100: 1+50 for 14.5, EI 100 (reduced agitation)

In both cases I invert five times at the start of each minute for the first three minutes, then one inversion every three minutes. Both times are for 120 film, and these scan nicely on a flatbed.

I just developed Pan F in Rodinal 1:100 for 20 minutes and it looks great.
The ISO used was 50, just like the box. Pan F can have excessive contrast, so I was looking for a softer neg. Rodinal 1:100 does the trick.
