Ilford Cooltone developer

Ok, sorry, you're right, they only stock the Harman / Ilford Warmtone developer... I assumed, seeing that on the webpage, that they would also have Cooltone, but I never scrolled down to check it.

However, I think they will be able to supply it, if you ask them to order it from Harman, considering they have the WT developer...

As far as I know Ilford have stopped making this developer, that is the reason Silverprint (and others) are not stocking it.

Are you talking the "old" Ilford, before break-up and buy-out to Harman of the BW photographic division, as seems to have happend, because the latter company now does seem to produce such a product (again, see the link I provided), under the "Ilford / Harman" brand name.

Yes, it's a confusing situation. Maybe it would be better if they all called it "Harman"...

And as I told you, the shop I went, had a least a dozen of "Ilford / Harman" Cooltone bottles stocked, acquired recently I think because I can't remember seeing it there before under that brand name...

I've no doubt that there are plenty of dealers with stock, and that there will be for quite some time given it's apparent lack of popularity.

If you need cooltone developers, look at Wolfgang Moersch and his product line.
He makes the worlds best paper developers. And he has several alternatives for cooltone developers.
