Ilford 1 litre chemistry bottle same as jobo

Is it just coincidence that an Ilford one litre chemistry bottle is almost exactly the same as a nobody bottle or was this by design. Both work in my nobody processor.

The fine print on my bottle of Universal PQ reads "Made in Germany", so probably not too much of a coincidence.

But convenient. Do you mean the 1/2 litre size because the 1 litre bottle is too tall

The 1 litre fixer bottle is exactly the same size except that the top is smaller. It even has the ribs along the side like the jobo

That was a nice discovery. I assumed that they sourced the bottles from the same manufacturer. It is handy for sure.
