HI
I have bought an icp42 and iwd washer dryer unit, and have been given an incomplete manual with it, does anyone know where I can get a copy of the manual? I am concerned about the missing chapters offering valuable safety and maintenance advice for the new user.....
Also, what are P30, P22 and P5 processes? I am going to do RA$ with fuji paper and tetenal chemistry.
Any advice?

P5 is a silver-dye bleach process from Ilford Imaging. It is their special process for their 35mm silver-dye bleach film. You can use this process manually or with all kind of processors.

hello.

I should have a complete maual around here somewhere. We still use a ICP 42 with RA-4. We do not have the IWD.

Anything in particular you'd like know know right away?

vaughn

Bloody hell...I thought I was going nuts! Already answered your other post. It's like deja vu all over again.

Before the Disorganization you could still get them from Ilford. I doubt if you can anymore but its worth a try. If you cant find one anywhere else I have one I can copy for you, but it may not be for a while.

P30 is the Ilfochrome process most people use with the unit.

The only processes currently manufactured are P3 and P5. P5 is for micrographic film. P3 is sold in large quantity for big labs as P3X and in five litre kits as P3.5 which is suitable for Ilfochrome prints in your processor.

lopaka is right, but most old literature will refer to the home use kits as P30 (which is now P3.5) , and P3 will be referring to what they call P3X now. I dont know why Ilford doesnt make it even more confusing by naming everything exactly the same instead of almost the same.

Wayne,
I share your view. As I was not sure about the correlation between the processes hiding behind those older names and those newer names, I only referred to P5.

But that issue actually starts with the two companie's names...
Most people just refer to `Ilford´.
