If you were to take just two cameras out of your collection an SLR and any other type what would you go with?

Hmmm...tricky.

one would certainly be either one of my Praktica BX20S SLR's.

As for the second.......probably the Zeiss-Ikon 520/16

Either my Arax 88 or Kiev 60 for the SLR and my Speed Graphic. I could get by with just those 2 cameras and be happy.

If you mean a 35mm SLR then my Contax RTS (my only 35mm slr) and my Speed Graphic.

Difficult as I don't have an slr among my collection, sold my last one yesterday, but for 35mm it would be my Voigtlander rangrfinder, the lenses are just so good an tiny, for Mf it would be my Microcord, again, that ross xpress lens is just so good, knocks Tesser's into a cocked hat

For me it would be my Nikon F3 and Minolta XD11. That was a very difficult question and assume that you meant only 35mm.

Does picking out from my collection mean to use or to get rid of? If it is to use then my two Hasselblads, 503 CX and 903 SWC.

If to use and from my own collection then they are the Nikon F3HP and F5.
If to get rid off and also from my collection are the Pentax K1000 and Nikon N2020

Why does one have to be an SLR? I would choose the two that I always carry, My Zeiss Netter and B&J 4x5.

Minolta XD7 and Rolleiflex SLX. Not light, depending on number of lenses, but can fit my small photo backpack.

Easy one.

Olympus OM1
Leica M6

Would include Rolleiflex sl35e (nice lenses and fun to use), but she has her bad days now and again, so a little bit unreliable at time

Not easy!
Nikon FE2 - still prefer it over the FA.
Leica M3 - just spent $300 on a cla so it needs some use.

So many mentions of Minoltas which makes me pleased with my recent purchase of a X-700 at a bargain price. Maybe it should be one of the chosen.

Easy! Mamiya RB67 for film that comes in rolls. Tachihara 8x10 for film that comes in sheets. Why compromise?

Oh, heck, I can't help myself... And I'd keep my plastic $1 toy camera.
