I'd like to subscribe , but...

Hello ,
I'd like to subscribe to Apug , but , when I try to sign in to my Paypal account , I don't see the small green window at the right top of the screen ; only a question-mark , which means I am not protected from piracy ; however , I have not this problem with ebay or other stores .
So , I don't want sign in because , two years ago , I have had problems with my Visa card and some hundred Euro have been stolen .
I am sorry , but I don't know what I can do...

The sub goes via paypal which is definitely SSL encrypted. You should see this as the url for your paypal payment page will be https instead of http. What browser are you using? Thanks

Edit : and it's written "https..." at the paypal page ("http..." at the Apug page) .

You don't enter any personal details on the APUG pages. You choose your subscription, press continue. press the next button along, then it forwards you to the paypal website login page. Or at least it all should, I'm doing this on firefox.

I suppose it's a paypal website problem , but I have not this problem with other stores .
The paypal login page is not as usual , that is why I beware .

I just tested it in Firefox 3 and the Paypal page is marked as being safe by Firefox (little lock icon at bottom right).

You are right to be suspicious though - better safe than sorry. Try another browser if you have one available and see if that is OK.
