What size and at what price point? eBay has plenty of used at prices less than the new cost. For me that has been a much better solution than alternatives you might hear about.

And to directly answer your question... I don’t know if less expensive alternative companies. Sorry
 
Used is your only option other than new from Tiffen.

They have always been very expensive and well worth the money...
 
Tiffen serves the cinematography community, and, like practically everything else for movie making, is expensive. Which explains rental houses. Not familiar with this filter or its cost, but could be something that would be rented when needed. For example, few professional cinematographers own $50,000 Zeiss movie lenses.
 
I assume cine rental firms only have filters in formats likely too big for most of us, like 4x4" and bigger.
 
KEH often has used Tiffen filters at reasonable prices.
 
You could buy just the 67 and use an adaptor ring to fit it to the 58.
That would be a good investment. Step down rings are much cheaper than extra filters...
