ID Bogen head

Can someone ID this Bogen tripod head?

It came on a Zone VI tripod from an estate that used medium format primarly.

The best I can find online is a 3047 or 3039 but all pictures of them have thumb levers for the quick release plate where this one has a screw knob.

I assume that is an early model, before Manfrotto introduced that lever lock.

The grips are oldfashioned,
the receptible for the camera-plate has single studs instead of a closed rim,
there are seperate rubber pads instead of one.

Wow... I didn't know Bogen had been in business that long.

ive got that one too. there were a few varieties of it the 3047 and 3039. mine has the thumb lever.

I have a couple that I purchase new in the 70's, crude but they do their job.

Manfrotto started with tripods in 1974. But I did not know they introduced their camera-plate system in the 70s.

Height and weight makes it a 3047. 5 3/4 inch tall, 42.4 ounces.
