Even if the quality were similar, INSTAX film is 1/3rd the price of Impossible film so hopefully Fuji will come out with a monochrome version. This year is a Photokina year so keep your fingers crossed! Maybe they bring that as a surprise product announcement!!

If that happens - I am buying Instax WIDE 300 immediately after announcement!

Well, I'm hoping that they also bring a better camera to Photokina too. Something far better than the 300. Two years ago at the last Photokina was when Fuji released the Instax Wide 300.

Hmm... worldwide petition with a previous announcement within many forums, websites and social media.
We could start by increasing the number of followers within this and prepare valid ideias to present to fujifilm.
Even though this approach failed with pack film, it was something that was already "stopped" in their side.
With instax, something that is still increasing in popularity, what they want is profit, and b&w would help alot, and It's kinda cheaper to make from the info i've gathered.

Lomo Belair camera can take instax wide films (so far Belair seems to be best instax wide camera), and for Mini - I would use Diana F (already have instax mini 7 as well).

Belair for the money... no... many problems with the frame.. even though it's good looking camera and that manual film eject looks neat, but it's pure diana plastic.

The 300 has more technology and it's better built and it costs less... being the only drawback the lack of an hotshoe..

Screw fuji and instax. They already had brilliant products (FP100B, C, etc.) that crushed instax and IP as far as quality, that they did nothing to promote. And then they killed them off, even though demand was still continual, and refused to let anyone else take up the reins on it. They can go to hell.
