I have a large back-log of photos from years past, and I would like to organize both the negatives and the prints in some kind of order. I've noticed that there are many, many books, websites, magazines, etc., and other arcana on the how-to of photography, but I have yet to come across a work which gives some specific instructions on how to organize, catalog, and conserve film stocks and prints. Aside from generalities, that is.
I realize that I may be way off-kilter here, but I'm looking for some solid references on how to go about cataloging my stuff. Also, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but since I work almost exclusively in 35mm, I thought I would start here.
