Last night I had a weird dream. In the dream I was getting ready to load bulk film into the bulk loader for the first time in years. Don't have a darkroom right now so was going to use a changing bag. Anyway, was going through a dry run with everything out before me in regular light, then, I was ready to do it.

So, I open the tin of bulk film, Arista Premium (Tri-X?), and placed the film in the loader, then, Oh Sh--, I can see what I am doing, forgot to put everything in the changing bag. Quickly put the cover on the film.....

Awoke in a cold sweat....

I hope this was not a premonition.

Next time open yer eyes and look around. You'll either be awake and really doing it or you will awaken yourself. Either way you'll be safer for it.

Ah-ha you can use them to practice loading.

I thought those rolls of film we see on auction sites were totally useless.

See, the sellers didn't ruin the film for all conceivable purposes.

Come to think of it I haven't had a dream with cameras or film that I can remember. Kinda odd since I carry one everyday and my room is full of em lol. Maybe I'm lucky since it would be pretty terrible when your looking for a picture or negative you took in the dream world lol.

L.O.L I understand your joke fstop, but in the U.K what you call a muffler in the U.S we call a silencer, a muffler in the U.K is a scarf we are still "two countrys separated by a common language"

Be glad you do not sleepwalk, because you might have done that in your sleep.

I had a childhood friend who used to sleepwalk and you when you see it happen, you do not fully realize they are asleep immediately, because their eyes are open and they are doing something that seems generally normal until you address them verbally and then it is quickly realized that they are asleep. It is best just to tell them to go back to sleep.

The night you had your odd dream, I also had one.

I had to go back on my uncle's boat which was a civilianized military craft a little larger than a P.T. to use the bathroom on it.

As I boarded and got to the bathroom, I flushed the toilet and somehow the engine started the anchor went up while I was the only one on it, I had to quickly race up some ladder steps to get the helm.

This was a really, really big boat and as I was steering it trying to miss other boats, knocking out mooring docks, going this way and that way, trying to steer out of the way of closing water gates as well as other water craft, the whole time saying aloud with heartpounding fear "Oh gad...oh shii... oh gad ... ohshi-i... oh gad!!!" repeating this phrase over and over.

Finally, I managed to steer clear of a last closing water gate and got out to almost open harbor but between a rock jetty and the harbor behind me, I ran over a film crew working on a sci-fi film and the crashed space craft prop vehicle in the water they were using to make their movie, breaking it up even further than the arrangement they had for their shoot.

Since I did not wake up in jail, I have it reaffirmed that I am not a sleepwalker like my childhood friend was.

Awe... c'mon. Many of us have pulled out our bulk out before turning out the lights.

At least I don't have to worry about turning out the lights on wheter or not my bulk flaps over and hangs over or under my belt, I just get worried if it gets dust on it if it drags on the floor.

I leave the light on, that way I won't step on it.

What a fine thing deterioration is.

^^^ Uh... yeah, right. Sounds to me like you need a better grip on your bulk and a better grip on reality. :D

I use to have a reoccurring dream which went something like this. I was in suspended animation (deep sleep) in a space capsule fired into deep space. When I awoke the time registered many millions of years into the future. I was in another galaxy and when looking out of the capsule window I observed colours I had never seen before. I found this dream very perplexing. How could Kodachrome cope with this?
