..sort of..

Hi all - emil schildt (gandolfi) speaking.
I am back - decided to make a last go of it - it has been a while, and life has been tough - still is...
I' got fired - kicked out of an apartment - lost all my belongings (sold off without me knowing it) - all my photos - cameras - lenses - sculptures - paintings - furniture - even my clothes are gone...

I have not taken/made an image in three years - not been in a darkroom..
Living at my twin's house, which has been a blessing in disguise for him, as he (on top of all the luck we have had) has been diagnosed with Dementia...

But in here I have had some really kind "friends", and I can maybe still help others with questions on photo related stuff..

looking forward to this again..

Welcome back! I imagine you can walk in the woods without wondering how you’re ever going to clean up the garage.

Emil! I too recently returned after a long absence and I have been watching for you. You are forever etched in my mind as the man who killed his darlings — I loved that series on so many levels. Go make stuff. It’s medicinal. 🙃

Good to have you (back) here, and I hope brighter days are on the horizon. Life can throw some nasty curveballs once in a while...

I fear no more photography for me. My entire life is now to try to take care of my twin.

Another re-joiner here after a while away. Good to see some of the regular 'faces' again. Sending best wishes to you and your twin.
