The cause of the slow traffic and grid lock in northern Virginia is the people who live there. They are lip lazy and shorten Northern Virginia to NOVA. Not "nova" as something new or a new star, but "nova" which in Spanish means "It does not move" and when used in reference to motor vehicles means "its broken down".
I'm even more confused... Virginia... who was she?

Another thing in northern Virginia that does not make sense to me. What is the connection that local people here have to Vermont? I cannot believe that so many were born in Vermont, went to college in Vermont or own property in Vermont. Yet they plaster their cars in trucks with Vermont stickers. It all seems so hokie to me. :crazy:
