Any more news on this? Very interesting thread. I would love to know what was on that film.

I'm in the process of moving and haven't had a chance to develop it yet. I'm curious myself as to what is on it.
As far as the story goes, I've reached a dead end and I guess we will never know who the true owner was. I was able to talk to Herman Leonard though so it was worth it just for that since I really admire his work.

Alright Reverend, hope your move went well, but wondering what came of this. The history may have come to an end, but that film still has a story in it. Let's see it.

Good morning, Rev. Jay;

You never know when a good thread is going to end.

There does seem to be interest still in the history of this particular Rolleiflex. At this point, it probably does not really matter if it was Lily Marleigne, Lily Langtry, or Lily Saint Cyr; it is still an interesting story. I admit to having a couple of cameras from unusual sources, and I have wondered about what images might have passed through their lenses and onto the film later removed and developed.

In that vein, there is another site something like "found film" (or something) about the photographs found on the rolls of film contained in used cameras purchased from garage sales, thrift stores, pawn shops, and similar places. Many of them were on 120 or 620 film with an occasional 35 mm roll found also. Those from the 1940's and 1950's were interesting to me.
