hello,
I am just about to start developing at home and am still a little green. I bought some Infosol 3, basically cause it was all that was in the shop. I also bought some HP5, which was on sale.
Now after doing some reading, I have discovered they may not be the best match for each other.
Can anyone tell if they have used this combo before and did it work? or are my neg going to look awful?

cheers

Michael R is right. I tend to use Ilford Microphen, but have Ilfosol 3. Used Ilfosol S before that. One thing I like is that you can mix just one shot out of the bottle, and squeeze the bottle to eliminate the air. Later, I use marbles to displace the air. It lasts a long time that way, although, not quite as long as Rodinal.
