hey all,

I have a printer question for you.
I have an hp photosmart 8450 printer. I know it can print up to 8.5X14 prints. Has anyone tried to print using watercolor paper with this type of printer? I don't think my printer allows me to feed the paper into the back. and I am worried about jamming the printer.

thanks,
Scott Hunnicutt

just give it a try Scott

if it handles up to 14 inches, how does it? why the concern about feeding from the back

your concern should be, does the printer handle thick
paper

i've used up to 300 gsm watercolour paper in several printers, my latest attempt was 200 gsm Canson Aquarelle in a HP Photosmart 8230, no problem

Back feeding makes for a smoother path and lessens the likely hood of jamming if I understand the principle correctly. Also used for stiffer materials like card.
