I joined after lurking for a little while. I'm an amateur, but interested in photography. I have a Praktica slr and Kiev 88 that I managed to acquire very cheaply.

I came here mostly for help composing pictures. The goal is to make aesthetically pleasing photos to give my living space an illusion of cultured-ness. Self developing film is also an interest of mine, but not possible until I move into my new place that will have surplus room.

Having super nice gear is not really a priority or financial possibility.
