I'm a displaced New Yorker now settled in Dallas (USA) Texas area. I am returning to film after a few years with digital. I gave my Fujifilm s5000 to my grandson.

I'm starting with an eBay purchased Minolta Maxxum with a few lenses. B/W through a 50mm lens is my main choice and will be posting a few for comment.

This seems like a nice bunch. From my google search there are not many film oriented user groups. I hope I can get myself back up to speed on film to meet the group standards.

Welcome George!! From one of the large D) members of the Texas contingent!! Greetings from a bit West of you near Ft. Worth. Really is a great group here, check the regional forums and you can get an idea of what we have been up to...but beware we are strange group...from old farts to some of them young uns, but we have a ball and do manage to get out together for an outing once in a while...matter of fact the group met over at Fair Park the Friday after Thanksgiving.
