Two printed versions to consider. :D True sunlight would make this project possible. I haven't see that thing for several months. I'm not giving up, yet.

Zeiss Ikon Maximar 207/7 (9x12cm)
Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 13.5 cm F/4.5
1/2 second exposure @ F/11
300 watt SunPak AUTO TRIAC 3001 lamp
Film: Efke Professional PL 100 M (9x12cm sheet) (from Freestyle)
Developed Negative in D-76 1:1, 8 minutes, no stop bath, normal fix
Paper: Expired/fogged Kodak Polycontrast III RC (5x7) F
Exposed with homemade Cold Cathode/diffused head, Rodenstock 135mm, 4 second exposure @ F/27
Developed in Dektol 1:2, 1.5 minutes, weak stop, normal fix

Bowl: $2.48 from Wallymart.
Fork: 1847 Rogers Bros. Sterling

The Darkroom Cookbook, page x, mentions that at least until the 1930s the standard developer sold by Eastman Kodak for home darkroom workers was a pyro-based formula.It's a guess if this was of the non-staining or staining variety, with the first possibly morphing to the latter as sulfite is reduced. These old formulas may be lost in the mists of time.
