How to protect Lith print

So,

I have made couple of Lith prints together with my friend - to show him beauty of this process . He fall in love instantly and he wants to put those prints on the wall in his apartment. Plan is to not put glass in front of the prints, but I am wondering how to protect those prints. There will be dust, and couple of hours sun also.

Lith prints are made in Foma 542 paper with Moersch easy lith.

Maybe highly diluted selenium toner? Some spray?

Protect it like you would any other silver gelatin print. Toning with selenium isn't a bad idea, but I would avoid any sprays or lacquers at all costs. Most of them only harm archival stability, not improve it.

I would reconsider not using any glass if you want to keep the print for a long period of time. Contaminants will settle on the print over time and dirty it, and exposure to sunlight will cause fading. A piece of museum glass will greatly reduce the effects of UV exposure as well as protect the print from dirt and dust.

Agfa Sistan or Fuji Ag Guard plus light selenium toning. A good frame with Schott Mirogard glass. Like E76 said I would reconsider not using any glass.

Yes if dilution has a lot of toner. But for 1+100 it should stay the same (that is was was written on Adox package anyhow).

Toning lith prints is very different to toning normal prints.
And even with normal prints selenium offers only protection with a significant amount of toning, i.e. colour shift.
