how to flatten cut paper??

Hi.
I have two rolls of fuji crystal from where I cut 8x10 sheets, the problem is that it's very curled I have left it around 3 weeks under heavy books but still is nowhere near as flat as a piece of paper from a box, Is there some kind of secret to flatten the cutted sheets??

Can you roll up a sheet as small as 8x10 without damaging it? Try one sheet and see if it works but if not there may be a possibility of simply getting the opposite ends close to one another and attaching the right size elastic band for a few hours.

If foc meant this as opposed to tight rolling then I apologise for repeating his idea

The simplest way to roll a sheet, no matter what size, is to start it against (for example) a postal tube or the empty core from your paper roll, and you won't get any kinks or marks.
If you roll it tight you will only create another curl problem.
Practice on a sheet first and see how you get on.

I will try the roll idea, but after I finish a color safelight I'm testing, I'm to clumsy in total darkness

Roll paper is a pain. In the US Fuji sells CA paper in sheets, the last company to do so. Kodak Alaris only in rolls.

Pull the sheet over a somewhat sharp edge, such as a countertop, enlarger base, etc.. Assuming it curls towards the emulsion As my papers always have, put the back side against the edge.

Ra4 is nearly always emulsion-out on the roll, so it curves the other way. Sheets from the end of the roll (close to the core) do curve quite badly I find. But it's no longer a problem once the prints are framed.

I know it's pain, but: I got it cheaply two 90 meters rolls for 60 USD and I'm not in the US.

Yeah, roll paper may be a bit awkward at times, but more often than not, it's the only option. Want to print on Endura, or anything but the standard Crystal Archive (e.g. Supreme or Supreme HD)? You'll have to roll with rolls...
