Hello all- This might be a silly question or one that doesn't really have an answer here but here goes..

Im a nearly 100% analog photog (mostly MF though) and Im very interesting in expanding into larger formats and into some alternative processes. I have plenty of experience with basic darkroom stuff being that I still develop and prices both BW and C41 at home, but Im wanting some more advanced training. Id love to take some workshops in LF, wet plate and the likes.. but Im not sure where to begin to find any. I live in San Diego, CA so I imagine there exists something, but Ive not found anything via google. Ive looked at the local meet up groups and while there good, its mostly digital and intro stuff..Im by no means saying Im an expert, Im just hungry for more..

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I've heard good things about Michael Gordon's worksops, but have never taken one.

For a darkroom workshop I have taken a couple, but by far the best was Bruce Barnbaum's workshop which takes place in Washington State (near Seattle). He will take you through setup and use of a LF camera, developing and printing film. He also does some more shooting oriented workshops, including one in Death Valley which is relatively local to you.

Another place that offers workshops in a variety of topics (including some alternative process things), and is semi-close is Rayko in San Francisco.
