I couldn't find anything about this film in terms of developing. It is shown in attached picture.

My first film in Minox B camera I acquired yesterday. I have Minox developing tank as well, but I don't know if C-41 will works for this film.

Thanks, Ko.

Well, I was puzzled a bit by that 20DIN. There were not that much of that kind.

Out of those I think most likely the film to be Agfacolor CNS. Thus needing the obsolete Agfacolor process.

I was using East German Agfa slides film as my first film in eighties.

It is ASA 80. I set camera to 50. Could I get it developed as BW instead?

I had a roll of Minocolor 100 last year and surprisingly a lab developed it for me. They broke the cartridge and the pictures were very grainy (film expired in 2000) but it worked.

Well, this 15 frames cassette is done and gone. I used it to learn couple of hours ago for how to operate Minox developing tank. I have three Minocolor 100 36 left. Expired in 89.
Those are C-41 for sure.

Since you seem to have the box for these film cartridges, it's got to state the correct development process somewhere on them. 20 DIN is not a process, but a speed rating close to ISO 80.

Box saying for paper color prints. Color negative.
I'll check on three "newer" boxes.
Based on date and what I know now, it is C-41. It was only this particular cassette I wasn't sure.

Not necessarily. Especially with rare conversions. In the past some retailers (deliberately) used uncommon films for their brands to get a second profit from their processing service.

There is no need to break the cassettes, but I'm sure you know that. They are easily reloadable, once you have film in the correct width and length. Reloads are commercially available (in the EU anyway) and fresh Sharan/Acmel cassettes are available on the usual auction site, as well as a few stockists. I don't know of a retail source for new empty cassettes, but it could even be possible that the new films might be being loaded in to "new old-stock" cassettes which will eventually run out, who knows. There is also a rather expensive, re-usable, brass cassette in production.

To the best of my knowledge, Agfa CNS films were 20 Din or 80 ASA. When Agfa changed to C41 process films the film speed changed to 21 Din or 100 ASA.

So since it's 20 Din film speed that that would suggest to me that it is CNS process, which is an obsolete process and not commercially available. However I have heard of some people processing it in C41 BUT at 20C (dev for 20 mins instead of 3m15sec) and not the standard C41 38C (it will melt the emulsion).

It could also be developed as a B&W.

If you search Agfa CNS you should get results.

I tried it as bw. It came out black. Google didn't returned much for this Agfa CNS thing. It was just one cassette, anyway.

Minox guys I know are re-using same cassettes for years.
I'm not going to purchase reloads, but sliter from same person who does brass cassettes.

Cheers, Ko.
