I'm surprised anyone is still using Firefox. I was a loyal user for years but I dumped it about 3 years ago. Seemed to get really buggy and slow on all my systems PC and Mac.

I do for 1 reason, I can delete browsing history, cookies, and the like from the customizable address bar. Other browsers are Chrome based and you have to dig through the settings menu to delete browsing history or other accumulated debris from the web.
Firefox not automatically selects the 32 bit or 64 bit version to install based on your hardware. If you have a 64 bit machine and are running a 32 bit browser switch to the 64 bit version if available.

Don't think either Chrome or IE can hold a candle to Firefox on what you can customize on it. Have been using it since it came out first many years ago. The feature I love the most is being able to sync all settings across as many machines you want. You can add a bookmark on one and it shows up everywhere.

You can do the same syncing with Chrome.

The behaviour and response of Firefox is influence by the platform it is used on. PC users will get high speed browsing as a default, but tidying up the FF memory can make it zip along better too, as will installing the minimum necessary add-ons -- some, like Ghostery, slow Firefox down considerably, mores if it is used with an ad blocker.

FF has long been buggy, blighted and quite unstable on Android tablets (tablets, specifically), and for that reason I use Chrome, but Firefox is unremarkable and speedy with a Samsung S9 phone.

Sync settings are similar whether the browser if Chrome of Firefox; additionally, Firefox will update/re-order/delete bookmarks that have changed on one machine in the sync line-up and reflect this in others. I have not seen this in Chrome.

I don't know exactly but I think Mozilla offers an add-on or plug-in for colour management (?) instead of through the config line.
